Candidates are expected to answer six questions from 10 on all papers which are each of three hours duration.

Passes in four papers within a five year period will fulfil the academic part of the requirement for Graduate Membership of the Institution. Successful candidates will be required to apply for membership in the normal way. It is not necessary to sit all four papers in the same year.

*These papers were included in the options list for 2006, conditional on sufficient demand. A letter has been posted to candidates advising that these examination papers have been withdrawn for 2006 and offering an alternative paper.

Candidates are expected to answer six questions from eight on all papers which are each of three hours duration.

Note: Papers 1, 2 and 5 are compulsory papers in this examination. Candidates require one optional paper. It is not necessary to sit four papers in the same year. Individual papers may be attempted, however, if an applicant wishes to use four passes towards and application for Member grade, then all four passes must have been achieved within a five year period.
