What Happens After I have Applied to Sit an Examination?

Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement letters are sent to all candidates following receipt of their application form.

Candidates who have applied to sit Membership Paper 4 (Building Construction), Paper 9 (Marine Fire Studies), Paper 10 (Petrochemical Fire Studies) or Paper 11 (Civil Emergency and Disaster Management) will be written to before the end of the year to advise them whether these papers will be taking place and therefore, whether they have been transferred to their alternative paper.

Confirmation

Confirmation letters including information on the allocated examination centre will be posted to all candidates 4 weeks before the examination.

Results

Results letters will be posted to all candidates in mid June. Pass certificates will be issued shortly thereafter. Results will not be given out over the telephone or by fax or email. The examination pass list will be published on this website towards the end of June.

Candidates who owe the branch arrears with respect to the examination fee and/or annual subscription fee will not have their results released until payment has been received.
